Behavioral Health Resources is seeking a part time 16 to 32 hours per week Child Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. You will be part of a collaborative team of dedicated and compassionate professionals. Our culture is inclusive, and we provide good support to our medical team. This position can work 32 hours per week and be benefited if you are willing to see adult patients.

The schedule and work environment at BHR is set to allow adequate time with clients and for a team approach: 2‑hour evaluations, 30‑minute follow‑ups, plus dedicated time for paperwork and urgent appointments. All clients are also seeing a case manager or psychotherapist who works in the same office and in the same medical record system.

BHR has locations in Olympia, Shelton, Elma and Hoquiam, and this position may require travel to these sites. The Child Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner performs psychiatric assessments and medication management for BHR clients with available consultation/supervision from a psychiatrist.

Compensation: $77.72 - $105.94 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Part‑time employees are eligible for sick leave accruals in accordance with Washington State law. Benefited employees working 32 hours per week are hired on the lower end of the pay scale and are eligible for an exceptional benefits package with 100% paid medical, dental, vision, long‑term disability and basic life insurance for the employee, 5% contribution to a 403(b) retirement plan after one year of employment, 10 paid holidays plus 2 personal holidays per year, a generous paid time off policy, and reimbursement of credentialing expenditures.

BHR is an eligible employer for the Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness program. BHR is open to a contract non‑benefited work agreement for the higher end of the listed pay scale.

Qualifications
  • Currently licensed as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Washington.
  • Active Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in the treatment of the mentally ill children.
  • Willingness to treat adults, if needed.
  • Maintain current DEA license and necessary certificates/working agreements for prescribing schedule II‑V drugs.
  • Have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
