Our client is a large U.S. financial institution headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, with a broad regional branch and ATM network across multiple states. The organization is a principal subsidiary of a public bank holding company and ranks among the largest banks in the United States.

Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain Ping Identity and Auth0 infrastructure for customer and commercial identity services.
- Define security and performance requirements for directory services and IAM integrations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant on identity-related projects.
- Collaborate with IT and Information Security teams to integrate Ping Directory with authentication, SSO, and federation solutions.
- Monitor and optimize directory performance, replication, and availability.
- Develop and maintain standards, procedures, and guidelines for directory services and IAM operations.
- Conduct root cause analysis and remediation of identity-related incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Support audits and compliance efforts by producing technical documentation and evidence of controls.
- Stay current with identity security threats, technologies, and best practices.
- Participate in risk assessments and recommend improvements to identity infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and offshore teams.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in information security and IAM, including authentication, authorization, and federation.
- Hands‑on expertise with Auth
0. - Hands‑on expertise with Ping Federate.
- General security engineering experience supporting IAM platforms.
- Experience with Ping Identity suite including Ping Directory, Ping Federate, Ping Access, or Ping One.
- Experience integrating on‑prem or hybrid environments with AWS or similar cloud platform.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux administration.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Shell or Python for automation and integration.
- Understanding of distributed computing and directory replication strategies.
- Knowledge of application and data security concepts and common vulnerabilities.
- Experience supporting migrations between Auth0 and Ping Identity stacks (preferred).
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services (preferred).
- Experience working with offshore teams (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred.
- CompTIA Security+ certification (preferred).
- CISSP certification (preferred).
- Ping Identity certifications (preferred).
