Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide expert psychological services in a dynamic high school setting located in Olympia, WA, through a full-time, onsite position designed for dedicated school psychologists. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to support students' educational and emotional growth with a manageable caseload aligned to best practices.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions to high school students.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state regulations.
- Offer counseling and crisis support as needed to foster a positive school environment.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to guide student progress.
- Valid Washington State Psychologist License or a willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience or training in school psychology practices and student assessment.
- Ability to work onsite, maintaining full-time hours (7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week).
- Commitment to managing a caseload ratio of approximately one psychologist per 800 students.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills tailored to an educational setting.
