General Surgeon

Overview

Surgical Associates is seeking a full-time General Surgeon to join its collaborative practice in Olympia, Washington. This position will emphasize acute care surgery. The practice provides a full range of general surgery care to patients across southwest Washington at Providence St. Peter Hospital. Surgical Associates have been at the forefront of surgical innovation -- relying on a strong team approach to meet the evolving needs of the community.

All our physicians are university trained and board certified, resulting in a broad set of surgical skills, outstanding problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to individualized patient care. An emphasis on teamwork gives the group a range and depth of experience to call on when challenging medical issues arise. This is an opportunity to join a truly exceptional and collegial team focused on providing the best surgical care possible.

• Full-time General Surgery Hospitalist position. An element of elective practice could be added depending on the candidate’s professional goals.
• Week on, week off. Call burden and management of the acute care service is shared with the group during work weeks.
• Primarily inpatient care
• Both experienced physicians and new graduates are welcome to apply

• Compensation is between $300,000 and $350,000 per year
• Compensation is based on experience
• Full benefits including health, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, CME
