Job Description
The Customer Deal Desk (CDD) Specialist leads and manages the contracting process end-to-end for strategic, complex transactions that meet regional criteria requiring CDD involvement. The Customer Deal Desk team is responsible for supporting the North American sales teams from Enablement, Quoting, Approvals, contracting through to Booking and Provisioning as part of the Quote to Cash process. The CDD Specialist will report to the Manager, Customer Deal Desk and will be responsible for providing high quality, responsive support to Oracle’s North American Sales teams.
ResponsibilitiesThe CDD Specialist creates, validates and processes contract documentation using Oracle’s standard document templates, a set of contract options and in accordance with Oracle’s policies and business approvals, in response to requests received from Sales. The CDD Specialist sets the overall direction for his/her assigned managed deal(s) and is responsible for the successful execution of the contracting process, ensuring consistency and adherence with Oracle strategy, commitments and goals as well as compliance with Oracle policies and procedures.
The CDD Specialist facilitates and co‑coordinates discussion amongst Sales and multiple Oracle functional stakeholders (i.e. Collections, Rev Rec, Finance, Legal, OFD, Business Practices, Migrations, Order Management, etc.) to reach agreement on contracting terms in order to solve complex contracting and quoting scenarios and meet the specific needs of their assigned FBE (Facilitated Buying Experience) deal(s).
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills with ability and desire to provide excellent customer-service to internal customers.
- Act with a sense of urgency in a dynamic environment.
- Must be organized, detail oriented, flexible, and able to prioritize multiple projects with short deadlines independently or with minimal supervision.
- Experience leading successful direct partner and client communications.
- Knowledge of Contracts/Contract Negotiations.
- Project management experience.
- Proactive approach, team player, with positive and “Can Do” attitude.
- Results‑orientated with critical problem‑solving skills.
- Good PC skills, esp. in Word/Excel.
- BS Degree preferred.
Certain US customer or client‑facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.

Hiring Range in USD from $27.07 to $54.13 per hour; from: $56,300 to $112,600 per annum. May be eligible for equity.

Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non‑overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
