Patient Service Coordinator

Montgomery County, MD. TEKsystems is searching for experienced Medical Administrative professionals in the DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia area, working with an extensive client base.

Pay: $20-25 USD/hour

• Responsible for high-volume scheduling of procedures, upwards of 100 procedures per day.
• Follow-up messages from both patients and providers during downtime.
• Registration, scheduling, and insurance verification.
• Familiarity with EMR (preferably IDX; willing to be flexible).
• Update procedures inputted into the EMR.
• Cross-train in both straight scheduling and front desk responsibilities; primary role is front desk.

• 2+ years experience in Medical Administration or Customer Service
• Diploma or GED required
• EMR experience preferred
