Physical Therapist PT Pediatric
Carle Health is hiring a Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide individualized care for patients of all ages.
Overview & Compensation$5,000 Sign On Bonus Available!!!
$2,500 Relocation Bonus Available (greater than 50 miles) (external candidates only)
Compensation range: $36.74–$63.19 per hour.
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patients' physical condition and needs.
- Establish PT treatment goals based on initial evaluations.
- Develop corrective exercise and treatment programs.
- Supervise treatment and record patient progress.
- Determine proper equipment usage and instruct patients accordingly.
- Teach patients, staff, and student affiliates about rehabilitative therapy techniques.
- Evaluate clinical findings to determine diagnoses and care outcomes.
- Participate in educational programs, literature, workshops, and in‑service meetings to enhance professional growth.
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and other required reports.
- Collaborate with support personnel following legal and ethical guidelines.
- Establish a PT Plan of Care based on functional deficits and patient goals.
- Conduct objective testing for range of motion, strength, and functional performance.
- Administer therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, iontophoresis, and electrical stimulation as appropriate.
- Deliver manual techniques for stabilization, facilitation, or inhibition of movement.
- Complete daily documentation and charging in the Therapy EMR.
- Communicate patient progress and treatment recommendations to referring providers.
- Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants per regulatory guidelines.
- Use standardized outcome measures consistently to reflect functional performance accurately.
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois (IDFPR).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (required).
- Relevant work experience in physical therapy.
