Carle Health is hiring a Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide individualized care for patients of all ages.

$5,000 Sign On Bonus Available!!!
$2,500 Relocation Bonus Available (greater than 50 miles) (external candidates only)

Compensation range: $36.74–$63.19 per hour.

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical condition and needs.
• Establish PT treatment goals based on initial evaluations.
• Develop corrective exercise and treatment programs.
• Supervise treatment and record patient progress.
• Determine proper equipment usage and instruct patients accordingly.
• Teach patients, staff, and student affiliates about rehabilitative therapy techniques.
• Evaluate clinical findings to determine diagnoses and care outcomes.
• Participate in educational programs, literature, workshops, and in‑service meetings to enhance professional growth.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and other required reports.
• Collaborate with support personnel following legal and ethical guidelines.
• Establish a PT Plan of Care based on functional deficits and patient goals.
• Conduct objective testing for range of motion, strength, and functional performance.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, iontophoresis, and electrical stimulation as appropriate.
• Deliver manual techniques for stabilization, facilitation, or inhibition of movement.
• Complete daily documentation and charging in the Therapy EMR.
• Communicate patient progress and treatment recommendations to referring providers.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants per regulatory guidelines.
• Use standardized outcome measures consistently to reflect functional performance accurately.

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois (IDFPR).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (required).
• Relevant work experience in physical therapy.
