SUMMARYThe shipping coordinator is responsible for processing all outbound freight through the final stage.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure all customer orders are package and labeled with no to minimal errors and allowing for no damage in shipping through wrapping and/or banding
- Verify all part numbers prior to packaging and ensure accurate quantities based on customer orders
- Apply shipping labels to all packaged goods and routing item appropriate staging area for shipping
- Prepare all necessary paperwork and electronic bills of lading at high accuracy, maintaining all relatedly shipping records and logs
- Maintain a clean work area, with adequate supplies of packaging materials
- Ensure safe operation of forklift, pallet jacks, and any other necessary equipment.
- Load and unload shipments
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
- Forklift certification or prior experience
- The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
- Schedule is Fri-Tues 7:00am - 3:30pm
