General Laborer Converting Plant

Pay Rate:

$21.29 per hour

Shift:

1st Shift: (6:00am – 2:00pm), (10-hour shift: 5am-3pm), (12-hour shift: 5am-5pm)

2nd Shift: TBD

• Work collaboratively as part of a manufacturing team to support production goals, including improving productivity and reducing downtime and waste
• Assist with various tasks across the plant floor as needed to support operations
• Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures
• Maintain work areas and equipment in accordance with 5S Standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
• May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be able to work assigned shifts—including 2nd shift (timeline TBD)—as well as overtime and weekends as needed for business operations
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment preferred
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Reliable and punctuality
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation

• Prior work experience in the corrugated industry or manufacturing environment
• Prior machine operator experience

• Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel
• Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance
