Your Role On Our Team
The dock associate is responsible for wrapping pallets and loading pallets into trucks, and for moving product to staging lanes and production lines.
You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
- Drive forklift/pallet jack to load and move pallets
- Wrap pallets, record weight, and stage pallets for loading
- Load product into trailer
- Ensure all carries receive the correct paperwork
- Locate pallets by freight bill and assign labels
- Seal and release trailers
- Maintain overall organization and cleanliness of area
- Perform other duties as assigned
The Tools You’ll Bring With You
- Education equivalent to four years of high school
- 1 year of experience operating forklift/pallet jack in a production/distribution facility
Working Conditions:
- Driving motorized equipment for long periods of time
- Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of tools and boxes
- Able to work in various temperature conditions
- Experience with motorized electric pallet jack
