Hyve Solutions is looking for a detail‑oriented, hands‑on, results‑driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast‑paced, energetic environment.

Essential Functions

Typically manages a single department and/or shift.

Manage the ongoing ISO compliant and cost‑effective manufacture of specific products or sub‑products.

Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.

Plans and administers procedures, develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.

Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

Manages through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and staffing.

Directs and instructs a team consisting of ~10 supervisors, and ~200 employees.

Manages staff to meet objectives for safety, quality, delivery, and cost across 2 shifts and supporting on primary customer.

Training, supporting, and leading the management and supervisory staff.

Utilizes lean manufacturing strategies and tools to help the team achieve more efficient production.

Utilizes quality tools, such as 8D, to identify root causes of failures and implement preventative measures.

Improves manufacturing assembly to reduce defects, failures, and labor cost.

Handles hiring and retaining of manufacturing talent.

Experiences complex problems where analysis or data requires evaluation and identifiable factors and interacts with leadership on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.

Provides solutions to problems of moderate complexity that require evaluation of readily distinguishable factors using standard techniques and methodologies.

Interfaces with peers, both internal and external to the organization, to complete various reporting and follow‑up tasks.

Education and Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is a plus.

Minimum of 3 – 5 years related experience.

Analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Knowledge of manufacturing systems.

Effective in time management and delegation.

Demonstrated knowledge of Lean philosophies and experience in practicing those applications.

Job Complexity and Supervision

Works on problems of moderate scope.

Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions.

Builds productive internal/external working relationships.

Comfortable in a fast‑moving business and team environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Attention to detail and process.

Self‑starter and highly motivated.

Physical Demands

Extensive use of computer equipment and frequent telephone activity.

Periods of extended sitting, walking, and standing are required.

Activities such as bending and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds.

Employee must be physically capable of completing and satisfying all training requirements as stipulated by Company policy.
