Parkwood Behavioral Health System (a UHS facility) provides behavioral health and chemical dependency services to the Mid-South region and has been in business since 1987. We are located in Desoto County, in the northwest corner of Mississippi and approximately 7 miles south of Memphis. Parkwood offers a full continuum of care that provides treatment options to meet the individual needs of adults, adolescents and children.

The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the scheduling needs of nursing staff in all inpatient programs in conjunction with the Directors of Nursing. This individual coordinates the assignment of pool and float staff to supplement program schedule vacancies and staffing needs. The Staffing Coordinator performs responsibilities in accordance with established policies and procedures, and in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Parkwood Behavioral Health System.

Staffing Coordinator — Full-time

Monday - Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm

• High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three (3) years of prior hospital and staffing experience required.
• Knowledge:
  Prefer knowledge base of clinical needs for staffing purposes. Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet programs.
• Licensure/Certification: N/A
