Therapist – PRN (As Needed)
Parkwood Behavioral Health System, a Universal Health Services (UHS) facility, provides behavioral health and chemical dependency services to the Mid‑South region and has been in business since 1987. The facility is located in Desoto County, Mississippi, approximately 7 miles south of Memphis.

Outpatient Therapist (PRN)The Outpatient Therapist will provide social work services in accordance with the philosophy and objectives of Parkwood. The therapist is responsible for the following:
- Psychosocial assessments
- Individual, group, and family therapy
- Participation in treatment team planning and processing commitments
- Discharge planning and case management
- Crisis intervention
- Liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the facility
Master’s Degree required in a health or human services field.
LMSW, LCSW, LPC, or LMFT preferred. CPR Certification required.
ExperienceOne (1) year of prior psychiatric experience preferred.
KnowledgeKnowledge of individual, group, and family therapy theory and practice; case management; group leadership skills; discharge planning; age‑specific growth and development; and crisis and behavior management.
