Handyman, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor, Building Maintenance

We re hiring for a Handyman/Maintenance Operative to join a well-established property services company based in Oldham.

In this role, you will be carrying out a varied mix of reactive and planned maintenance at residential properties across Greater Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham & Sheffield.

What will you be doing as a Maintenance Operative?

• Changing light bulbs, fixtures and basic electrical repairs
• Basic plumbing, fixing heaters, bleeding radiators and checking boiler pressures
• Repairing washing machines and electric hobs
• Carrying out carpentry, joinery and general fixings
• Using hand and power tools safely
• Visiting properties to quote and assess jobs
• Working across high-rise flats and residential sites
• General handyman duties

What will you need?

• Previous experience in a multi-skilled maintenance or facilities role
• Previous handyman experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to travel to various job locations
• Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check
