Retail Assistant – Part Time

We are looking to recruit a new retail assistant for our shop in Chadderton, Oldham. We offer a permanent part‑time position working a variety of shifts, with a minimum of 20 hours worked over 4 days each week, including weekends.

20 hours across 4 days per week.

• £10.10 per hour for ages 16‑20
• £12.31 per hour for ages 21+

• Make all customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and hello
• Help customers find the items they are looking for
• Provide fast and friendly service at the tills, offering help to pack, and leaving a good impression with a thank you and goodbye
• Handle stock with care whilst working deliveries and quickly placing products into freezers and onto shelves
• Work with the team to complete daily and weekly routines that keep the shop safe, clean and tidy

• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work
• Can enjoy being busy – juggling deliveries, till service, shop‑floor assistance, cleaning and stock rotation
• Reliable – an important part of a small team whose colleagues and customers depend on you
• A bit of flexibility with shifts; rota’s planned three weeks in advance and commitments outside of work will be considered
