Hours:

38 hours per week | 2 Shift Pattern (6am–2:10pm / 2pm–10:10pm, Monday–Friday)
Duration:
Temporary, ongoing

(Candidates without essential experience cannot be considered)

The Role

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Production Technician to join a busy and growing manufacturing site based in Chadderton. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and previous experience in a production or machine operating environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate a range of production machinery including cutting, heat seaming, perforating, slitting, and stitching equipment.

* Assembly work could be involved with a variety of different duties

* Pack, label, and store finished goods safely and accurately.

* Input production data and produce labels using computer systems.

* Inspect and quality-check products, isolating any non-conforming items.

* Maintain clean, safe, and organised work areas in line with Health & Safety policies.

* Communicate effectively with other departments and shift teams.

* Follow company processes and report any hazards or faults immediately.

Skills & Experience Required:

* Experience in a busy production or manufacturing environment.

* Good communication and teamwork skills.

* Excellent attention to detail and timekeeping.

* Self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable approach to work.

Shifts & Breaks:

* 2-shift rotation: 6am–2:10pm / 2pm–10:10pm

* 1 x 35-minute meal break + 2 x 10-minute breaks per shift
