• Run well-being clinics in the community including full healthcare assessments, Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccination, and support the management of alcohol and opiate community detoxifications and other harm reduction and well-being interventions.
• Help shape service delivery and contribute to delivering clinically excellent services.
• This post suits a Registered Mental Health Nurse and involves working alongside the dedicated Rough Sleepers team.
• Provide a crucial link between substance use services and secondary mental health services in Oldham for a vulnerable and complex cohort of service users.
• Close liaison with partners in mental health services, housing and social care.
• Hold a small caseload of service users assessed as requiring mental health support, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness but may not be ready to engage with substance use services.
• Require experience of working with substance use, excellent mental health assessment skills, and a flexible and proactive approach to engaging with this hard-to-reach service user group.

• You will need to be a qualified nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
• As an employee you will have access to RCNi to assist with revalidation, indemnity insurance and support and supervision from the nurse manager and clinical lead.
• We are looking for a nurse who enjoys talking to people with different needs and possesses empathy, understanding and patience.
