Main duties of the job

Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds? As a Health Visitor in our team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering universal, enhanced, and intensive health services that uplift and empower communities across Oldham.

Be responsible and accountable for the operational caseload management of a 0-5yrs universal or targeted caseload and the delivery of high-quality programmes of care to infants, children and their families using a multidisciplinary approach Deliver the 0-5yrs Healthy Child Programme Public Health Nursing.

Your expertise will not only be welcomed but celebrated as you contribute to innovative projects and policies designed to enhance the health visiting service.

Person Specification Qualifications
  • Current Registration as a Midwife or Nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register.
  • Registered Specialist Community Health Public Nurse (SCPHN) in Health Visiting or due to complete in the near future
  • Registered Independent Nurse prescriber
