Our client is a global market leader and they're looking for a talented Electronic Production Engineer to join our growing team at our global headquarters in Greater Manchester.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping how our products are designed, built, and industrialised for customers worldwide.

As an Electro-Mechanical Production Engineer, you will work at the heart of their manufacturing operation, collaborating with UK and international colleagues to:

• Improve electrical and mechanical designs for manufacture, quality, and cost
• Support the introduction of new products into high-volume production
• Drive continuous improvement across processes, tooling, and assembly
• Resolve production issues using structured, data-driven problem-solving techniques
• Influence design for manufacture and automation from early development stages

You'll operate in a reactive, high-volume environment, where your ideas and expertise will have a direct impact on efficiency, quality, and performance.

• Manufacture and support electro-mechanical assemblies in a high-volume production environment
• Apply structured problem-solving methods such as 5 Why, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis, ensuring systemic corrective actions are implemented
• Collaborate closely with Engineering Development, Manufacturing, and International teams
• Support and enhance assembly automation and sensor-based electronic systems
• Use PLM and CAD tools to manage product data and manufacturing changes
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives to continuously improve processes

They're looking for someone who combines technical excellence with a practical, hands-on mindset.

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or HND via an apprenticeship in electro-mechanical products
• Relevant industry experience will also be considered
• Strong experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing
• Proven problem-solving capability using formal methodologies
• Knowledge of continuous improvement, Lean, and Kaizen techniques
• Experience with sensor electronics, physics, and assembly automation

• Experience with PLM and CAD systems, ideally Siemens NX / Teamcenter
• Familiarity with modern manufacturing systems and high-volume production

• Analytical and detail-driven
• Collaborative and confident working cross-functionally
• Creative, practical, and solutions-focused
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, global environment
