The Role Smile Education is seeking a passionate Secondary English Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Greater Manchester. You will deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4, including GCSE English Language and Literature
, helping pupils develop strong literacy, communication, and analytical skills.

• Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 & KS4
• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons
• Support pupils of varying abilities, including SEND
• Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour and engagement

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• A relevant English degree or related subject
• Experience teaching English at secondary level
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• An enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
