About the School:

Are you a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant eager to support children at an important point in their learning journey?

We are partnering with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Oldham that supports pupils across Key Stage 2. The school fosters a positive and encouraging environment where children are supported to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Some pupils have additional learning needs or SEN, giving you the chance to provide personalised support and make a real impact.

This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team, playing an important role in helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning.

As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils in lessons on a one-to-one or small-group basis.

* Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.

* Provide targeted support for pupils with SEN or additional learning needs.

* Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence.

* Help create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.

* Support pupils' academic progress and emotional wellbeing.

Requirements:

Experience supporting children in a primary school or childcare setting is desirable.

* Understanding of Key Stage 2 learning and curriculum expectations.

* Patient, proactive, and adaptable approach.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's wellbeing.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply

* Provide two professional, child-related references covering the last two years
