Talent Education is working in partnership with a large and well-established Primary School in Oldham to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible, with the role running until July.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work as a teaching assistant across the school, supporting pupils’ academic progress and emotional wellbeing. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy school environment and is confident supporting children with a range of needs.
The school has a strong leadership team, a positive learning culture, and a clear commitment to inclusion and pupil development.
The Role:
* Working across key stages to support pupils as a Learning Mentor
* Providing academic and pastoral support to individuals and small groups
* Delivering targeted interventions to support learning and progress
* Supporting class teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
* Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and build confidence
* Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
* Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
* Have recent experience working in a primary school setting
* Be confident supporting pupils across different age groups
* Have strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Be adaptable, proactive, and reliable
* Be available to start ASAP
