Hiring Manager: Joanne Rosler, Curriculum Manager for Digital Skills and Employment,

Role Overview
  • To be responsible to the Digital Skills and Employment Curriculum Manager for the management, development, delivery and monitoring of all aspects of Digital Skills and Employment programmes across the Service. In addition, to support the Curriculum Manager in the overall management of the Service.
Key Responsibilities
  • To assist in the development and management of the staff team, ensuring the implementation of all Service policies.
  • To assist in the identification of new developments and initiatives within the Service.
  • To assist with data and financial monitoring procedures.
  • To contribute to planning and reviewing of the team’s Self-Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Plan, in line with the Service Plan and Directorate and Corporate objectives.
  • To ensure curriculum development and quality improvement within the curriculum
  • To deliver recognised post
    19 qualifications through high-quality teaching that promotes effective learning and positive learner outcomes.
Key Requirements
  • Relevant teaching qualification at level 4 e.g. Cert Ed, PGCE,

    B.Ed and digital skills
  • Minimum of Level 3 subject specialism qualification
  • Excellent organisational skills will be needed to assist the Curriculum Manager with the development and management of teaching and learning within the Post 19 sector: with Practitioner experience in the curriculum area relevant to the post.
