Year 1 Teacher; Temporary

Position: Year 1 Teacher (Temporary)
Aspire People are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in OL4, Oldham, Greater Manchester, who are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about early learning, phonics, and supporting pupils as they transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1.

The role:

* Full responsibility for a Year 1 class

* Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum

* Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

* Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents

* Creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment

The ideal candidate:

* Holds QTS (or equivalent)

* Has experience teaching Year 1 or KS1 (ECTs are welcome to apply)

* Strong understanding of phonics and early reading

* A caring, patient, and adaptable approach

* Committed to high standards of teaching and learning
