Full‑time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:00 pm (term‑time only).
Start Date:
Immediate start until Easter (potential to continue or become permanent). Salary: £160‑£220 per day (dependent on experience).
Are you a passionate and qualified Science Teacher looking for a rewarding full‑time opportunity? A well‑regarded secondary school in Oldham is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team and teach pupils up to Key Stage 4.
This is a full teaching role, involving planning, delivery, and marking, within a supportive and forward‑thinking school environment. There is the potential for this role to become long‑term or permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and high‑quality Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Plan and prepare structured, creative lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment with strong behaviour management.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider Science department and school community.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Experience teaching Science at secondary school level.
- A passion for inspiring young people and maintaining high standards of learning.
