Wellbeing (PSHRE) at Brian Clarke is taught once a fortnight by Form Tutors. As part of our growth strategy, we are now in a position to appoint a talented individual to lead this curriculum area and the team of tutors.
The timing of the appointment also reflects the changes planned to the statutory guidance for delivering PSHRE by September 2026. Information about our curriculum can be found here:
Key Stage 3 - The Brian Clarke Church of England AcademyIn brief, we are looking for:
- A teacher committed to ambition, excellence, and community, who will work with the Head of Department to drive the growth and development of The Brian Clarke CE Academy. You will play a key role in supporting BCA to become an outstanding provider for young people, and continuing to support staff, who are committed and ambitious for young people, take pride in and enjoy their work.
- An inspiring, informed educator with a clear understanding of what makes outstanding educational provision for all, and the ability, understanding, and experience to lead, develop and manage a staff team to achieve this.
- Someone who will go the extra mile for students, not because they are asked to but because they want to; someone who will do their utmost to ensure all our students progress to the future destinations of their choice.
- Someone who will inspire students and the staff they work with, and build strong relationships with our parents, carers and community partners.
