Hours:
11:30am – 1:30pm | Monday to Friday | Term Time Only
We are working with a welcoming Primary School in Oldham who are looking to appoint a patient, caring and enthusiastic Lunchtime Organiser to join their lunchtime team.
The successful candidate will support the effective running of lunchtimes, ensuring pupils have a safe, positive and enjoyable experience. This will include supervising children during meals, assisting with cleaning and resetting the dining hall, and overseeing playground activities and games.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with the setup and tidy-up of the lunch hall
* Supporting pupils with their meal trays and encouraging good manners
* Supervising children during indoor and outdoor lunchtime activities
* Ensuring pupils’ safety and wellbeing at all times
* Supporting pupils to manage their behaviour in a calm, positive and consistent manner
* Communicating effectively with children, school staff and other adults
The ideal candidate will:
* Be caring, patient and enthusiastic about working with children
* Be confident working within set routines and school systems
* Enjoy engaging with pupils during play and activities
* Have good communication and teamwork skills
* Be reliable and committed
Requirements:
* All applicants must hold an Enhanced DBS certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
* Provide references from education or previous positions
