Design & Compliance Manager (Registered Building Inspector Class 2 or Class
3) Greater Manchester £85,000 DOE + £5,500 Car Allowance + Excellent Benefits Full-Time | Permanent We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, multi-disciplinary construction contractor with a strong reputation in refurbishment, regeneration and public-sector projects across the North West. Due to continued growth, they are creating a brand-new role for a Design & Compliance Manager (Registered Building Inspector) to sit within their Building Refurbishment division.

This is a senior-level opportunity to take ownership of compliance across complex refurbishment schemes including high-rise, retrofit and listed buildings.

The Role Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will lead on all aspects of design and regulatory compliance from procurement through to handover. You will ensure projects align with:
Building Regulations Building Safety Act requirements Gateway 2 & 3 submissions PAS 2035 / 2038 standards Contractual and statutory frameworks You will play a key role in identifying risk early, embedding robust compliance processes, and ensuring design integrity across high-risk and heritage refurbishment projects.
