Job Title:
Quantity Surveyor/ Commercial Manager
Location:
Oldham (Office based)
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 + Package (Happy to further discuss)
Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join our growing business, leading the commercial function and supporting long-term growth. The role involves overseeing cost control, valuations, procurement, and financial performance across domestic and commercial projects, and would suit someone confident working independently within a small, fast‑paced organisation.
Key Requirements- QS Experience or QS degree Needed
- Experience in both domestic and commercial sectors is preferable
- Produce accurate cost plans, estimates, and pricing documentation
- Monitor project budgets, track cash flow, and manage applications, variations, and final accounts
- Administer contracts and oversee subcontractor packages and agreements
- Assist with the preparation and submission of tenders as the business expands
- Carry out site visits and maintain regular communication with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Review and refine commercial procedures, contributing to efficiency and supporting the company's ongoing growth
