About Us:

Woodhouses Rise and Shine Before and After School Club is a new provision being established following the retirement of our longstanding Out of School Club Manager.

We are committed to providing a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment for children aged 4–11. Term Time:
Places available for Woodhouses School pupils only Holiday Club:
Open to children from other schools

Working Hours:

Term Time;
Mornings: 7:15 am 8:45 am Afternoons: 3:00 pm 6:00 pm Total:
22.5 hours per week Holiday Club:
Flexible hours between 8:00 am 6:00 pm (up to 30 hours per week)

Role Overview:
As Club Manager, you will:

  • Lead and manage the day‑to‑day running of the Before & After School and Holiday Club, including providing food and snacks.
  • Plan and deliver creative, stimulating activities for children aged 4–11.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted standards and safeguarding requirements.
  • Supervise and motivate staff, manage budgets, and maintain high standards of care.
  • Build positive relationships with parents and the school community.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Essential: NVQ Level 3 in Early Years, Child Care, or Playwork (or equivalent)
  • Essential: Paediatric First Aid qualification
  • Essential: Experience in childcare settings, staff supervision, and activity planning
  • Essential: Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Desirable: Basic Food Hygiene certificate
