As a Children’s Residential Support Worker
, you’ll play a vital part in supporting children and young people to feel safe, valued, and understood within a residential setting. You’ll help create stability, encourage positive behaviour, and support young people to develop confidence, independence, and resilience.

  & OL9 0BT
  )
• Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour
• Contract: Full‑time
• Shifts: Long day shifts and sleep‑in shifts
• Mixture of both on a rota basis
• No waking night shifts

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and structured residential environment
• Support individual care, placement, and behaviour support plans
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children and young people
• Support emotional, behavioural, and social development
• Maintain accurate daily records, reports, and handovers
• Work closely with colleagues, managers, and external professionals
• Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion at all times

• Proven experience working in children’s residential settings
• Confidence supporting young people with complex needs and behaviours
• Ability to work full‑time on a rota including long days and sleep‑ins
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
• Calm, resilient, and reflective approach to care
• Right to work in the UK and enhanced DBS clearance
