Generator Install Lead

Generators on Demand in Old Lyme is seeking an Operations / Install Lead to join their team! You will be responsible for assisting the Outside Sales Representatives and our Install Team from the sale of the generator to the installation & start up for the homeowner, as well as providing ongoing customer service to our new customers.

• Assist the outside sales team starting at the time of the sale.
• Update Field Edge database from lead to signed contract on customer profile.
• Apply for appropriate permits with continual follow-up.
• Document and update customer records based on interactions.
• Maintain communication with the customer throughout permitting to install/startup process.
• Resolve & troubleshoot customer inquiries/concerns.
• Maintain inventory of generators/ATS/wire/propane tanks.
• Maintain current prices of inventory in Field Edge.
• Schedule Inspections, install and start up of generator.
• Coordinate (the day before the install) all equipment is loaded, paperwork complete.
• Update all new equipment in the customer's file.
• Follow up with customer after the Install.
• Follow up with bookkeeping and dispatch that all billing and scheduling is correct.

• Desire to be the best with the best team.
• Construction experience or electrical sales experience helpful but will train the right candidate.
• Experience in maintaining inventory and updating pricing.
• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields.
• Ability to build rapport with clients.
• Exceptionally strong organizational skills and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
