ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population in order to achieve desired outcomes. This position focuses on expanding knowledge and skills, provides effective direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team to a variety of complex patients. The role directs and oversees care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination. The RN also coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
3>Qualifications
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License
- AHA BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire
- BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within 3 years of hire (for hires on or after November 2019)
- Minimum six months of relevant nursing experience or active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health’s Nurse Residency Program
- Med‑surg tele experience preferred
Minimum rate: $44.24 hourly. HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted hourly rate is a reasonably good faith estimate of the minimum base pay in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Act and does not reflect the full value of our market‑competitive total rewards package.
