Requirements- Valid New Jersey Home Health Aide license (current).
- At least 1 year experience as a caregiver or Certified Home Health Aide in homes or facilities.
- Fully COVID vaccinated & boosted.
- 2‑step PPD.
- Recent physical (within the last 12 months).
- English proficiency (read, write, speak).
- Valid driver’s license and insured automobile.
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
- Detail‑oriented, trustworthy, dependable.
- Ability to follow protocols and report changes in patient’s health.
- Medical knowledge to care for minor medical issues and administer medication under nursing direction.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Assist patients with daily functions such as dressing, bathing, meal preparation, grocery shopping, and light housekeeping.
Take vital signs, administer medications under nurses’ direction, and record/report data as medically necessary.
Plan for doctor appointments, manage transportation, and assist with scheduling.
Work flexible shifts, including part‑time, full‑time, per‑diem, and live‑in assignments.
Other Duties- Light housekeeping – dusting, mopping, laundry, etc.
- Prepping and cooking meals.
- Grocery shopping.
- Reporting to nurses about patient health status.
- Teaching patients self‑care skills.
- Full‑time, part‑time, per‑diem salary: $17–$20 per hour (depending on experience and case).
- Extra pay on weekends.
