Overview

We provide intensive outpatient and partial care to children, adolescents, and adults with primary mental health diagnoses. We provide tracks for general mental health OCD & Anxiety, and Perinatal Mental Health. Profile

Innerspace Counseling is seeking a motivated, and clinically strong individual for our open therapist position. Candidate should be a caring and empathetic provider that is passionate about helping those experiencing mental health crises and/or are struggling with a specific mental health diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, anger issues, OCD, perinatal mood disorders, etc. Please visit  for comprehensive program information.

Position

Details

This contract position is 40 hours per week and will involve running groups across programs/populations and building a small caseload. Position is a 10-month contract and eligible for extension or to become full time based on agency needs.

Job Description
  • Build up to a possible caseload of 15 clients, providing weekly individual and family counseling
  • Run multiple groups per week for the IOP and PHP programs (when caseload is lower and allows)
  • Document in the client’s electronic health record
  • Collaborate with schools, referral sources, and other providers as required
  • Conduct Intake Assessments as needed
  • Conduct Safety Assessments as needed
  • Complete Treatment Plans as required
  • Attend weekly rounds meetings
  • Participate in weekly supervision
Requirements
  • Have a valid NJ license (LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW)
  • Have a master’s degree in a clinical discipline
  • At least 1 year of experience providing mental health services to youth and adults respectively
  • Experience and willingness to work with all age ranges (8 yrs old to adult)
  • Experience running groups
  • IOP/PHP level of care experience, preferred
  • DBT, Perinatal, ERP and/or training, preferred
  • Must be a team player
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, Zoom, and Docusign, preferred
