Position: National Accounts Sales Representative New Olathe KS

DH Pace Company, Inc., the leader in the door industry, is aspiring to hire a National Accounts Sales Representative with our National Accounts division in Olathe, Kansas to prospect new clients, close deals, maintain existing accounts, provide stellar service, coordinate with internal teams, forecast, and handle complex contracts for high-value accounts. They will focus on revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and expanding business through strategic planning, negotiations, and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Drive new revenue and expand the existing footprint of National Accounts by calling on new prospects and clientele (end users and targeted general contractors) through brand awareness and selling skills. Meet or exceed sales and gross profit performance standards.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients by acquiring a thorough understanding of customers industry and business pain points and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Closely monitor accounts to stay on top of why accounts are up/down and identify “at risk” accounts.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and competitive estimates and proposals and perform follow‑up with customers to close sales leads. Ensure all appropriate bid forms are used and procedures are followed.
  • Provide quality service to customers after the point of sale through completion of the work on time, safely, and under budget.
  • Work with the Inside Sales team when/where appropriate to prepare accurate cost estimates for necessary material and/or labor costs for all standard and specialty products and services offered by the Company.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for critical client issues and collaborate with appropriate management to quickly resolve issues presented.
  • Perform daily updates and maintenance on the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) platform, tracking all relevant sales and marketing, including calls, emails, meetings, Linked In notes, fact finds, etc.
  • Assist all operational team members in providing the services necessary to complete work to meet the customers’ expectations.
  • Develop industry and product expertise representative of experience and tenure of employment. Learn the competitive landscape and prepare strategic sales plans to combat competitive threats. Develop knowledge of and stay current on all Company product and service offerings. Willingness to share that knowledge while assisting in training others.
  • Ability to work additional hours as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 1‑2 years of sales experience, relevant experience in the door and dock industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Must be highly self‑motivated and target‑driven with a proven track record in outstanding sales achievements.
  • Excellent communication skills and must be able to interact professionally with contacts, internal and external, at all levels and possess a high sense of urgency with exceptional problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to multi‑task and work efficiently in a fast‑paced work environment.
  • Strong aptitude for technical applications and mechanical systems preferred.
