Stock Team Member – Kirkland's Home – Part Time Overview

The primary responsibility of a Stock Team Member is to assist with freight flow process, backroom organization, salesfloor replenishment, and price changes. This position requires a high level of organization and a sense of urgency.

• Assist in the receipt of all merchandise in a safe, timely and efficient manner
• Maintain an efficient and organized stockroom
• Assemble product, execute markdowns and salesfloor replenishment
• Support profitable sales, protect company assets, and uphold the Company Handbook during shifts
• Assume personal accountability for individual performance
• Treat co‑workers and customers with respect and professionalism; adhere to company dress code
• Demonstrate commitment to company initiatives
• Take initiative each shift to ensure shipments are processed effectively and timely
• Maintain a professional, positive, can‑do attitude

• No experience necessary; stock experience preferred
• Energetic, results‑oriented, and competitive with a drive to succeed
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
• Work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
• Understand company directives, Handbook, and manuals
• Adapt schedule to meet store business needs (often early mornings and off hours)
• Lift and move 50 pounds or more regularly
• Climb ladders
• Lifting bulky merchandise regularly
• Stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting to stock and retrieve merchandise from stockroom and sales floor regularly
