Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) ensures and delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serves as a resource person for staff, and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

What you will do in this role:
Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served. Coordinates the daily flow of surgical cases on his/her respective shift. Coordinates nursing process for patients undergoing procedures performed in department. May function in circulating and/or scrub roles based on job knowledge and experience. Assists with ensuring customer needs are met (staff, MD, Patient etc) Assists with maintaining an environment that promotes patient safety.

Participates in seeking ways to control costs without compromising patient safety, quality of care and services provided Demonstrates ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a productive manner. Ability to adapt communication approaches to different members of the interdisciplinary team. Serves as a clinical expert to staff and physician. What qualifications you will need:
