Job Title:
Registered Nurse (RN) - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Olathe, KS
Contract Length: 14 weeks
Shift: 12-hour Nights (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
Weekend Rotation: Every Other Weekend
Unit Details:
- Area: ICU/PCU Hybrid (Neuro/Spine/Cardiac/Medical/Surgical Patient Mix)
- RN Ratio: 2:1 for critical patients, flexing to 3:1
- Support: 1 secretary available from 7 AM to 11 PM, 6 days a week
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in ICU/CCU.
- Licensure: KS RN or Compact RN License
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- Conduct and manage patient care in a critical care setting
- Float to all inpatient units (Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, Progressive Care, and ED) as needed
- Conduct own consults, draw labs, and manage codes independently
