Responsibilities- Assist the administration staff in overseeing and assisting all staff in all functions to ensure the provision of quality general and psychiatric care to patients suffering from substance abuse or psychiatric disorders.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of staff in all CCD and nursing areas and assist department managers with scheduling, education, and discipline of staff when needed.
- Participate in direct patient care, education, and training, and participate in departmental and hospital meetings as assigned.
- Review documentation and work with staff to ensure documentation is timely, accurate, and complete.
- The House Supervisor may also serve as a working RN and routinely personally execute nursing care duties to ensure quality patient care and proper execution and documentation of the treatment plan.

- Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing, valid driver’s license preferred.
- Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required.
- Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred.
- Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
- CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
