Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Cardiac Telemetry position requiring KS or compact RN licensure and cardiac drips experience.

• Position is on the Cardiac Telemetry (TEL Unit 4N) in a hospital setting
• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend is required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to all acute care units is required
• Primary patient population includes cardiac telemetry cases
• Experience with TR Band patients, cardiac drips including Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, and Cardizem is required
• Familiarity with the Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process is required
• Epic EMR is used;
  Epic training provided if needed
• Nursing staff supports multiple acute care units as needed
• Position requires attendance at a multi-day orientation including Epic EMR training
• Holiday coverage is based on unit needs
• Facility is nicotine-free

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry experience required
• Experience with cardiac drips and TR Band management required
• Experience with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process required
