Responsibilities:

• Assist the DON in overseeing nursing activities and quality of services.
• Participate in staff recruitment, interviewing, and performance evaluations.
• Conduct training and orientation for new employees.
• Review and update policies and procedures.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans.
• Act as a working RN, personally providing nursing care to ensure quality and proper documentation.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current unencumbered nursing license in the state.
• CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days.
• Experience in psychiatric healthcare, with a preference for chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.
• Leadership experience preferred.
