Ditch the Micromanagement: CNC Machinist. Are you a CNC pro who is tired of being hovered over? We’re looking for a skilled Machinist who treats the shop floor like their own domain. If you can take a project from Fusion 360 programming to final QC without needing a hand-to-hold, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

The Role:Autonomy in Action
You aren’t just a "button pusher." You’ll own the full lifecycle of your runs on Haas machines. Your typical breakdown looks like:
- 25% Programming:
Utilizing Fusion 360 (preferred) or Solid Works. - 55% Operation & 10% Setup:
Getting 3 and 4-axis machines dialed in and running efficiently. - 10% Quality Control:
Taking ownership of first-article and ongoing inspections using calipers and micrometers. - Maintenance:
Keeping your station running smooth (warm-ups, changeovers, and greasing).
- Salary: $50k – $70k (based on your experience).
- True 1st Shift Flexibility:
We avoid overtime. While it’s a standard 1st shift, our team has the freedom to "come and go" as needed, provided the work is done on time. - The Benefits:

- Independence:
You work best with minimal oversight and can prioritize tasks effectively. - Technical Mastery:
You are a pro with drills, end mills, and precision measuring tools. - Experience:
Specifically with Haas machines and 3/4-axis setups. - Detail-Oriented:
You take pride in a clean QC report and a perfect setup.
- Operate, program, and setup Haas machines, including setup, first article QC, and ongoing quality checks during runs.
- Routine machine maintenance (warm-ups, changeovers, greasing).
- Track labor efficiency and meet key deadlines.
- Work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and apply learnings from previous projects.
- Minimal oversight needed; responsible for 10% setup, 10% quality checks, 25% programming, and 55% machine operation.
- Proficiency with fusion 360 (preferred) or Solid Works; involved in 3/4-axis programming as needed.
- Technical Mastery:
Proven ability to program, set up, and run 3 and 4-axis CNC machines independently. - Proficiency with calipers, micrometers, drills, and end mills.
- Ability to program, setup, and run CNC machines independently.
- Solid understanding of Fusion 360 (preferred) or Solid Works.
The essential functions of this role include manual lifting up to 50 lbs.
