Position: Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Ready Case Beef Plant, Olathe, KS
* Promote a safe work environment by ensuring associates use proper safety equipment and maintain clean, hazard-free work areas.
* Request materials, supplies, parts, and repair services as needed.
* Manage daily production operations by planning work schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring quality and effectiveness.
* Inspect materials, products, and equipment for defects or malfunctions.
* Assist in production sequence planning to meet goals and deliver superior customer service.
* Address associate performance concerns promptly and analyze departmental reports.
* Drive continuous improvement and Lean culture by documenting and implementing process enhancements.
* Participate in new hire and ongoing associate training, providing guidance on process improvement, waste control, and quality management.
* Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by building relationships, supporting business plans, and identifying improvement opportunities.
* Provide supervision and development for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and recognition.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.
