Responsibilities- Manages press settings and utilizes dies.
- Counts and precisely positions products into the press for consistent compression.
- Conducts visual examinations of pressed primals to verify correct compression.
- Adheres to established protocols and responds if product does not meet specifications.
- Performs quality checks, discards faulty items, and reports serious malfunctions to supervisors.
- Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, maintains process and equipment performance data.
- Operates and cleans equipment to optimize throughput and minimize downtime.
- Operates equipment at recommended speeds and monitors all products to ensure compliance with quality standards and efficiency targets.
- Prioritizes tasks and utilizes policies and resources to accomplish work assignments.
- Collaborates with managers, co‑workers, and partners to identify priorities and expectations.
- Actively identifies improvement opportunities and suggests solutions.
- Demonstrates adaptability and willingness to learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.
- Adheres to all safety procedures, uses PPE, and reports hazards; participates in training and drills.
- Maintains cleanliness of work areas to prevent accidents.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity; uses data to make decisions.
- Communicates information respectfully; shares information with associates and leaders.
- Follows company policies such as the Ten Foot Rule.
- Adapts to changing work demands; stays focused on own work during change.
- Manufacturing or production environment experience.
- Familiarity with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and OSHA.
- Knowledge of Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements.
