DH Pace Company, Inc aspires to hire a Project Manager for our National Accounts Facilities team in our Olathe, KS office. This individual will ensure project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review project plans and specifications to determine materials, schedule, budget parameters, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project
- Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties, scope of authority and provide technical advice/trouble-shooting
- Connecting and interacting with General Contractors
- Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Construction Management Degree or Two (2) years’ experience as a Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager/Engineer for a construction/service company, sub-contractor, or property management firm preferred
- Candidates will need to have a high attention to detail and enjoy a fast-paced work environment that is very deadline focused
- Mechanically minded or inclined
- Strong mathematical ability; must verify bids for accuracy
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Access and Outlook
- Excellent communication, customer relations, and problem-solving skills
