Position: Janitor (Common Areas), Manufacturing (Starting at $20.80, Mon-Fri 9:30pm-6:00am, 3rd Shift)

Responsibilities

Performs general cleaning duties for common and office areas throughout the entire facility, including bathrooms and windows. Completes daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting surfaces, cleaning windows, and emptying trash bins. Responsible for minor maintenance tasks, for example changing light bulbs, fixing minor leaks, and reporting any major maintenance issues to management. Follows safety procedures to ensure the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and ensures common areas are free from hazards such as wet floors and cluttered walkways.

Receives hepatitis vaccinations in compliance with legal requirements. Inspects common areas to identify any damages or repairs needed and reports issues to management. Adheres to all company safety procedures and guidelines, uses personal protective equipment, operates machinery and equipment safely, and reports any hazards, near misses, injuries or accidents immediately. Actively participates in safety trainings and drills; maintains cleanliness in work areas to prevent accidents;

contributes to the continuous improvement of all safety protocols; demonstrates awareness of surroundings to ensure own safety and the safety of others. Successfully accomplishes work assignments and prioritizes tasks using policies and available resources. Collaborates effectively with managers, coworkers, and business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations. Carries out assigned tasks while communicating progress and relevant information. Actively identifies and suggests ways to address improvement opportunities, demonstrates adaptability, and is willing to learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
