Network Engineer

Overview

Akkodis is seeking a Network Engineer for a Contract with a client in Olathe, KS
. Candidate must have expert proficiency in Palo Alto, Cisco SDA/ACI, enterprise wireless, and IPSec VPN to be considered for this role.

• Implementing and supporting Cisco SDA and ACI architectures, including fabric onboarding, policy configurations, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Administering Palo Alto firewalls with responsibilities across security policies, NAT, routing, VPNs, and Panorama management.
• Managing enterprise wireless networks by performing RF optimization, resolving roaming issues, and supporting high-density deployments.
• Designing, configuring, and troubleshooting IPSec VPNs to ensure secure, stable connectivity across internal and third-party environments.
• Administering Infoblox DDI for DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and ensuring smooth grid management and automation integrations.
• Leading critical P1 incident resolution and utilizing packet-capture analysis to diagnose complex LAN, WAN, application, and data-center issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related engineering field.
• 6–8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking and security technologies.
• Strong expertise in Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco SDA/ACI architectures, and IPSec VPN configurations.
• Proven real-time P1 troubleshooting capability with advanced packet-capture skills and wireless network management experience.

Pay Range: $41/hour to $45/hour. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
