Job Summary and QualificationsThe CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. We are an amazing team, that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.
What you will do in this role:
- You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
- You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
- You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
- You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions.
- You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
- You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited program by the commission on accreditation of allied health education programs, American Medical Association or other accrediting agencies.
- American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) or registry eligible with completion of examination within 6 months of hire to maintain employment.
- Advanced CT Registry must be successfully completed within 6 months of registry eligibility.
