AuBurn Long Term Care Pharmacy has an opening for a dedicated professional to join our team. Located in Olathe, KS, our closed-door pharmacy serves local nursing homes, group homes and other similar facilities. We have an immediate need for an experienced Full-Time LTC Pharmacy Technician. This is up to 40 hours/week. Typical schedule is five 8-hour shifts (10am-6:30pm) Monday - Friday, however we now have 10 hour shifts available.
The listed opportunity for a pharmacy technician mainly includes preparing and filling bubble cards and medications for daily deliveries and cycle fill with opportunity to learn and rotate in other areas of production (running automation robots, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and assisting our nursing facilities with cycle exchange). Must be able to lift up to 30lb, stand, climb stairs, and walk throughout shift.
Candidates must display great customer service skills, attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to communicate effectively throughout shift.
Must be a Kansas Registered Pharmacy Technician as well as being a Nationally Certified Technician.Previous work experience in a Long Term Care pharmacy is highly preferred. We are willing to train the right person.
